eSkateboard v2

I really dislike London’s tube and think that personal electrical vehicles is the future of commute, so I built a DIY electric skateboard.

….aaaaaaand I got hit by a car. Always wear safety gear!

Accident happened on 15 Feb 2019, video shared publicly 2 Jan 2020, after the case was concluded and closed in my favor.

Board: 35° HOLYPRO TRAMPA Mountainboard Deck (17ply) [link]
Motor: 2x TRAMPA 136KV motor (6364 Out-Runner with hall sensors) [link]
Gear box: 2x FatBoy SS Drive (1:5 gear reduction. First version had 2x Trampa belt drives, but the belts would wear down fast) [link]
ESC: 2x Trampa VESC 6 (100A continuous, FOC mode. First version had 2x VESC 4.12, but they one day magically broke during a normal ride) [link] + Metr Pro (Bluetooth module) [link]
Battery: 2x Turnigy Graphene Professional 12000mAh 6S15C LiPo (12s1p configuration. First version had 4x Turnigy 5000mAh 5S 30C Lipo in 10s2p configuration, but the packs would puff due to a too high current load under aggressive driving conditions) [link]
BMS: DieBieMS v0.9 (First version had a Tiny BMS s516, but it magically broke during a normal ride leaving its output always on) [link]
Battery case: Electric junction box (250 x 200 x 90mm IP55. First version had a Pelican 1150 case) [link]
